“New Brunswick: the City with a Heart”
“A heart as big as Paul Robeson’s. A heart as tender as Joyce Kilmer’s. A heart as brave as Jimmy D’s. They are all New Brunswick. They made this city. How can we best honor and remember the people who gave their hearts to New Brunswick? How can we make their presence felt and seen throughout the streets of our city? Sculpture.”
–Greg Ritter, Chairman
“Public sculpture takes advantage of New Brunswick’s rich history and diverse population to entertain and educate, providing inspiration for artists to capture and for the public to enjoy.”
— James Cahill, Mayor of New Brunswick
